Founded in 1964 as a manufacturer of colored shikishi boards, tanzaku strips, and traditional Japanese notebooks, Shogado crafts each goshuincho (temple stamp book) by hand, dyeing the yuzen washi one sheet at a time.

The shimmering accents of gold, silver, and fluorescent hues give every piece a refined and graceful finish.

The Edo Zukushi series features motifs inspired by both classic and contemporary Tokyo—its cuisine, culture, architecture, and tools—expressed through clean, linear designs that embody the chic sophistication of Edo aesthetics.
